What is the best board for a beginer snowboarder?
I have just started snowboarding (only been twice) and am sick of using rental boards. Can anybody recommend a few good beginer boards that will make my life easier through the learning process? I'd like something that can grow with my skills and that I can eventually try to hit jumps and perhaps the park with. Money isn't my main concern as is a board that I can feel comfortable with...although something good with a good price tag is obviously a plus! Oh...and I tend to snowboard out west (Colorado area resorts) if that makes any difference given the type of snow they get out there. Thanks in advance!

Check out the Burton Clash (or the Burton Bullet if you have big feet). I've used it for several seasons and I still haven't out grown it. I can take jumps with it and mess around (mostly fall) in the park with it too. Its got a good amount of flex and makes it very easy for carving by minimizing slippage. Remember the board is directional so it may not be as easy to ride switch as it would be with a none directional board. Overall though I highly recommend it (its not expensive at all either). good luck
